Booking Terms and Conditions
- Reservation Confirmation: All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Wawa Northern Lights Motel & Chalets. Your reservation is considered confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation via email or any other communication channel agreed upon.
- Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time is 3:00 P.M., and check-out time is 11 A.M. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
- Reservation Guarantee: A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will be pre-authorized for the total amount of your stay at the time of booking. The pre-authorization ensures that the card is valid and has sufficient funds to cover the reservation.
- Currency: All rates and charges are quoted and processed in CAD. Exchange rates may apply if paying with a credit card issued in a different currency.
- Full Payment: All payments for room reservations must be made online through credit card at the time of booking. Your credit card will be charged the full amount of your stay upon completion of the reservation process. No additional payments will be required upon check-in or check-out unless making additional chargeable requests.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Motel Room Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the arrival date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the arrival date or no-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
- Cottage and Chalets Cancellation Policy: Cancellation made 7 days prior to the arrival date are eligible for partial refund. $30 per day will be retained from the payment made on the reservation and remaining will be refunded if cancelled at least 7 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival date or no-shows will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
- Minimum Age Requirement: Guests must be at least 18 years old to check-in. A valid government-issued ID with a photo and a credit card in the guest’s name are required upon check-in.
- Pets: Only dogs are allowed in select rooms. Service animals accompanying guests with disabilities are permitted. Please inform us in advance if you plan to bring a service animal. An additional fee of $25 plus taxes per night is applied for pet stays.
- Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including motel rooms. A cleaning fee of $500 will be charged for violations of this policy.
- Damage Policy: Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused to motel property during their stay. Charges for damages will be applied to the credit card provided at check-in.
- Right to Refuse Service: Wawa Northern Lights Motel & Chalets reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason that violates motel policies or disrupts the comfort of other guests.
- Lost or Stolen Items: Wawa Northern Lights Motel & Chalets is not responsible for any lost or stolen items during your stay. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables during their stay. Please ensure that rooms are securely locked when not occupied and that valuables are stored safely.
- Guest Conduct: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times and adhere to motel policies. Any behavior that disturbs other guests or motel staff may result in eviction without refund.
- Privacy Policy: Wawa Northern Lights Motel & Chalets respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our privacy policy for details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions: Wawa Northern Lights Motel & Chalets reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will be available on our website or provided upon request.
